Char Dham Yatra, Uttarakhand: Heavy snowfall in the mountains, Baba Kedar Blanketed in Snow

In Uttarakhand, a Shivling is located inside a cave on a hill at Timmarasan, about one kilometer before Neeti village on the Joshimath-Neeti Highway. This Shivling is continually anointed by water dripping from the hill, and each year, an ice Shivling forms here, similar to the one in the Amarnath cave. Known locally as "Barfani Baba," this ice Shivling stands between two and a half to three feet tall. From December to April, Lord Bholenath shows up as Barfani Baba at this site. This year, with the cold intensifying, Barfani Baba has appeared once again, attracting devotees for darshan.
